Services for Ruth Merritt, 82, of Hanceville will be Tuesday May 14, 2019. Visitation will start at 1:30 at Hanceville Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville, AL.

Mrs. Merritt is survived by her children Pat Merritt of Hanceville, AL, Donna Merritt of Hanceville, AL and Leisa McGriff of Oneonta, AL; grandchildren Zach McGriff, Allison McGriff, Elizabeth Merritt and Patrick Merritt II; a brother Eddie Belcher of Fultondale, AL and two great-grandchildren Mia McGriff and Grayson McGriff.

Mrs. Merritt was predeceased by her husband Gene Merritt of Hanceville, Al.
