Funeral service for Mr. Ron Lee Cates, 55, of Arkadelphia will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church with Reverends Ronnie Johnson and Harce Swann officiating.  Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday evening beginning at 6p.m. and Sunday until service time.  Ron died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Kim, Children; Amanda (Cole) Freeman of Brushy Pond and Eli Cates of Arkadelphia. His parents Cecil and Viva Lee Cates of Arkadelphia; brothers Roy Cates and Randy (Amy) Cates of Arkadelphia along with nieces Monica, Sarah and Lucy and a nephew, Zach.
