Services for Nellie Schmidt Brown, 76, of Hanceville will be Tuesday, October 25 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home; with interment in Walker Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Mrs. Brown passed away on Saturday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick C. and Bernie Chappell Schmidt; sisters, Earline Evelyn Doss Schneider and Catherine Margarete Wilson and brother, Wallace Frederick Schmidt. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Brown; children, Raymond Brown, Dianne (Jim) Cornelius, Gail (Randall) Kretzschmar and Randy (Lynn) Brown; six grandchildren, Christi (Curt) Ballard, Jamie (Josh) Warmack, Dustin Kretzschmar, Kelley Kretzschmar, Stephanie Brown and Michael Brown; six great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Lou Crider, Dorothy Nell Becker, Evelyn Hays and Brenda Gail Long and brothers, Donald Edward Schmidt and Carl Edwin Schmidt.
