Funeral Services for George Carlton Grund, 75, of Hanceville Alabama, will be at 2 O'clock P.M. on Wednesday June 19, 2019 Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville, Alabama. The family will receive friends at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home. Mr. Grund is a Vietnam War veteran and received a Vietnam Campaign medal, Bronze Star and Good Conduct medal.

Mr. Grund is survived by his wife Sandra Grund, daughters Kaye Grund and Anna (Shawn) Morgan and son Pete (Lesilie) Grund. Other survivors include a sister Frances (Randy) Nuss and a brother Paul Grund. Surviving grandchildren include Ally and Caleb Grund and Shawn Tyler and Matty Jack Morgan.
