Woodie Darrell White, age 76 of Hanceville, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham. He was born in Cleburne County, Alabama.

He was a member of Hopewell Church of God; he loved to play golf and watch John Wayne movies; avid Alabama Football Fan…… Roll Tide.

Woodie is preceded in death by his parents, Woodie Pace White and Murthy Freeman White; father and mother in law, Emmett and Mary Jeffers; son in law, Randy Allred; sister, Edna Faye White. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Jeffers White; children, Paula White (Randy Baker), Shelly Allred, Zachary (Heather) White; grandchildren, Natosha (Ty) Carpenter, April Sellers, Jayda White, Alivia White, Dylan Lazaro; great grandchildren, Aiden and Peyton Carpenter; his fur baby, Tebo White; brother, Billy Wayne Pate.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Church of God with Reverend Paul Rivers and Reverend David Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery. Mr. White will lie in state at Hanceville Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue to lie in state from 12:00 Noon until service time on Thursday at Hopewell Church of God.
