Funeral services for Mr. Wilson "Tony"  McAlpin, 73 of Hanceville will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home, Reverend Wendell Peterson officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery, his family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Mr. McAlpin died Sunday, June 30 ^th after an extended illness.  The son of the late Jahue and Gladys Shaddrix McAlpin was U.S. Army veteran and a farmer.  He is survived by brothers; James and Manuel McAlpin, a sister, Doris Norred and a fiancé Peggy Chambers. Also a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law Ottis and Faye McAlpin  and Kenneth McAlpin.
