Funeral Services for Wayne Wilson, 65, of Hanceville will be 11 O'clock A.M. Tuesday November 5, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Reverend Paul Campbell will be officiating. The family will welcome friends for a visitation at the funeral home from 6 O'clock P.M. to 8 O'clock P.M. Monday November 4, 2019.

Mr. Wilson served in the Army National Guard and was a truck driver for many years at Jones Motor Company. He was loved by many family members and friends. Mr. Wilson was a man of strong faith and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hanceville, AL. where he stayed active within his church family and community.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of many years, Lisa Wilson; his children, Shawn Hageman and Kristie Gilley; grandchildren Samantha Gilley, Colton Gilley, Robyn Hageman and Brittney Hageman; a great great grandson Jaylon Graves; his brother Kenneth (Rose) Wilson; mother Drucilla Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his father Sonny Wilson, sister Anita Cornelius, step-daughter Amy Thompson and a sister-in-law Gwen Sullins.
