Wayne Bobby Quick, Sr. of Hanceville, AL passed away on March, 3, 2022 at the age of 75.

Wayne is survived by his brothers Billy, Roland, and Van Quick; sister Jerelene Vickers; his daughter Shelley Peters (Patrick), son Wayne Quick, Jr. (Stephanie); six grandchildren Simon, William, Bronson, Tatum, Sophia, and Gage; former wife and mother of his children Michelle Quick; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents Cecil and Bobby Quick; his brother Herman Quick; and sisters Bernice Nelson and Maxine Moore.

Wayne was born in Hanceville, AL to Cecil Quick and Bobbie K. Huffman Quick. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

Wayne owned and operated a fish market/luncheon restaurant in the northeast before returning to Hanceville. He enjoyed living a quieter life and took interest in restoration of cars and equipment as well as raising farm animals.

A memorial service will be held at Hanceville Funeral home on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM.

In remembrance of Wayne's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Vietnam Veterans of America or Wounded Warrior Project.
