Funeral service for Wanda Lee Sanders, 81 of Hanceville will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Valley View Baptist Church with Reverends Philip Starnes and Marvin Clemmons officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church beginning at noon. Interment will follow in the church yard cemetery. It is asked that masks be worn and distancing recommendations be followed.

Wanda died suddenly Saturday evening, January 30 ^th of a stroke. She and her late husband Clark were founders of Sanders Farm Supply which her children still operate. A member of Valley View Baptist Church, Wanda a charter member of the 91 Homemakers Club, exercised weekly at the Wellness Center at Wallace State and visited the residents at Hanceville Nursing Home every Friday until Covid procedures prevented.  She also loved her cats and birds (especially cardinals) of which her family has many stories about.

She leaves as her legacy her children; Alan and Cathy Sanders, Lynn and Keith Campbell and Michael and Shelley Sanders. Grandchildren; Sarah Green, Tori Sanders and Matthew Campbell. A great grandson, Brantlee Clark Green and a sister, Joyce Mitchell.
