Funeral services for Wanda Burgess, 72, of Hanceville, AL will be 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Arkadelphia. Reverend Scott Arnold will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burgess is the daughter of the Late Creamer Arthur and Juanita Travis. She was born in Cullman, Alabama on July 9, 1948. She died at the age of 72 on April 30, 2021.

Survivors include her children, Kim (Babs) Freeman, Keith (Sonia) Burgess, and Keadrick (Laura) Burgess; grandchildren, Shannon (Kayla) Burgess, Brandon (Crystal) Burgess, Cameron Burgess, Kaden Burgess, Noah Burgess, and Rivers Burgess; great grandchildren, Caliegh Burgess, Colby Burgess, Caroline Burgess, Jesse Ray, Julian Dogett, and a great granddaughter on the way; sisters, Linda Isbell and Janet (David) Smith; and brothers, Dewayne (Pat) Arthur and Carlton Bell; a host of nieces and nephews; and a very close sister-in-law, Trish Thorn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Burgess; and sister, Nina Hurst.
