A funeral service for Vonda R. Calvert, 87, of Dodge City will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home with burial following at Cullman City Cemetery. Bill Hall and Chad Kennedy will officiate. A time of visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

The daughter of the late Floyd and Ruby Childers Roberts passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was a good Christian woman and spent her working years as a banker.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leon Calvert; daughter, Shelia Calvert; brother, Junior (Josephine) Roberts; sister, Alfa Bruce; sister-in-law, Betty Roberts and a host of nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brothers; Thurburn, Thurman, Jody and Billy Roberts and by sisters; Bobbie Calvert and Irene McGuire.
