Funeral services for Vernie Lee Harbison, 89, of Bremen, Alabama will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 20th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Cullman City Cemetery. Bro. Bill Hall and Bro. Mike Lauderdale will be officiating services. Visitation for the public will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 19th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Vernie Lee Harbison was born on March 14, 1935 and passed away on November 17, 2024. He was born to his parents, Vernie and Flossie (Mitchell) Harbison. He was married to Jackie (Myers) Harbison for 58 years.

Mr. Harbison was a faithful Christian and a member of his beloved church family at Corinth Church of Christ.

Due to his kind and gentle spirit (Mixed with a little wit), Vernie Lee had an abundance of friends that loved him greatly. He was a great example of being a caring husband, especially during his wife's long illness.

Vernie Lee was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife. Even though he had no children, he leaves behind a host of extended family members and numerous friends.
