Funeral Services for Velma Louise Jacobs aged 90, of Hanceville, will be 2 p.m. Saturday November 23, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for friends is Saturday November 23 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Officiating Reverend Samuel Tucker. Final disposition will be at the Bethsadia Baptist Cemetery, Cullman, Alabama.

Mrs. Jacobs was a self-employed farmer and homemaker.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her son, Larry Edward Jacobs, of Ellabelle, Georgia, a daughter Rebecca Eloise Sprowl of Hanceville, sisters, Mary Hughes, of Hanceville, Alabama and Doris Briscoe, of Gardendale, Alabama and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jacobs is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Jacobs, sons, Mancel, Harold and Timothy Jacobs, sisters, Clara Starnes, Cleo Herndon and Vivian Graham, brothers, Dewey, Clifford and Leonard Hutson.
