Valerie Denise Calvert, age 52, of Hanceville, AL passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at CRMC.

Funeral service will be Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home.  Internment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Hanceville Funeral Home, Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.  Reverend Barbara Trussell officiating with Wanda Segler and Christy Jacobs speaking.

Valerie's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her love and care for others will live on through them.

Survived by her husband, Steve Calvert; two Daughters, Tara Kadwell (Steve), Candice Calvert; 3 sons, Roger Calvert, Cory Calvert (Kari), Cameron Calvert (Mckenzie); Mother, Shirley Millican; Mother-in-law, Jean Calvert; Five sisters; Teresa Martin, Christy Jacobs, Debra Dodson, Shelia Reynolds and Rebecca Johnson. Her grandchildren; Julyus, Maddie, Xavier, Easton, Callie and Jaelynn

Valerie is preceded in death by her father, James Albert Millican of Lacon, AL.
