Funeral services for Thelma G. Elrod of Hanceville will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Hanceville. Reverends Wayne Wisener and Hobert Thomas will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11:30 A.M.

Ms. Elrod was born on February 1, 1943 to the Late Edward and Doris (Howell) Vest in Center Hill. She died on April 2, 2021 at the age of 78 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center.

Survivors include her son, Rodney (Melannie) Jacobs; grandchildren, Haley (Chris) Horn, Alex (Lynnsie) Jacobs, and Katie Jacobs; great grandchildren, Ella Horn, Jaxon Jacobs, and Karrigan Jacobs; brother, Elvie (Kay) Vest; niece, Karen (David) Brandon; nephew Jeff (Sally) Vest; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
