Funeral services for Sheila Cook-Sterling of Hanceville will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 26th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sterling was born on July 13, 1953 to the late Albert and Julia (Dunman) Cook in Cullman, Alabama. She passed away at the age of 69 on May 24, 2023 in Hanceville, Alabama.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Dale (Tammie) Miller, Windy (Phillip Hitt) Reynolds, Tina (Jeff) Flanigan, Rickey Miller and Renita Cook; grandchildren, Tiffany Matthews, Jeffrey Miller, Joseph Miller, Raenon Rider and Deanna Rider; great grandchildren, Cayden Thomas, Roman Matthews, Magnolia Matthews and Kylie McNeely; sister, Wanda (Johnny) Jones; brothers, Kerry Cook, Eunice Cook and Rickey (Gail) Cook; a host of many loving nieces and nephews; best friend, Sisue Rouse;  and beloved pets, Zipper, Hot-Rod, Yellow Belle and Socks.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sterling was preceded in death by her grandson, Roman Smith.

The family would like to give a special 'Thank You" to Eric Jackson with Enhabit Hospice for the love, care and support shown to Mrs. Sterling and her family.
