A celebration of the life of Selma Davenport Barnett of Hanceville will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at East Side Baptist Church in Cullman. Tony Tidwell officiating. Hanceville Funeral Home Directing. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m..

Selma, the wife of the late Kay Barnett and daughter of the late Doc Hence and Mary Ruby Knight Davenport passed Saturday, November 13, 2021.

She is survived by her children; Sherri and Chuck Troxler of Cullman and Stephen and Kristi Barnett of Hanceville.  Grandchildren; Stephen Michael (Kasey) Barnett, and Aimee (Nate) Troxler Longo.  Great Grandchildren are Waylon Kolt Barnett, Daniel Flahart, Kinsley Flahart and Laikyn Longo. Also surviving are sisters, Evelyn Aaron and Thelma (Ken) Milligan; brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Davenport and a host of nephews and nieces.
