Graveside service for Ruth E. Garner 92, of Garden City will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 20 ^th at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville with Reverend Fred Rivers officiating.  Hanceville Funeral Home directing.  Ruth's family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening 6 until 8.

The daughter of L.T. and Pearl Hudson Cobb was born in Hanceville on May 31, 1928. She was the widow of the late William Garner.  She leaves behind daughters; Elaine (Richard) Queen of Cullman and Ann (Gerald) Alvis of Huntsville. Eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a brother, James Cobb of Garden City.  Preceding her in death was a son, Arthur Garner, Jr. and a brother, Oneal Cobb.
