Funeral services for Ruth Doty will be Saturday, November 14, at 1 O'clock P.M. at Riverside Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11 O'clock A.M. until service time at the church. Face masks are required.

Ruth passed away Thursday November 12, 2020 at the age of 97 1/2. Ruth was born March 13, 1923 to Patrick Jefferson and Rhoda Montana Hill Yarbrough.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Verbon A. Doty; son Max A. Doty; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Doty.

She is survived by her son Terry Doty, daughter-in-law, Frances Doty; and grandchildren, Jason, Brandon (Shannon), Ashley (Sara) Doty, Kyle Doty and Kaci Doty Fowler; great grandchildren, Ethan and Xander Fowler, Zachary, Olivia, and Alyssa Doty and Carter Doty; sister, Rhoda Howard; brother, Dewey (Von) Yarbrough ; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth lived on the farm, raised chickens for a number of years and enjoyed her garden and being outside. She attended Riverside Church as long as health permitted and loved to lead the church in singing.
