Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Johns, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 6th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Bethlehem East Cemetery. Reverend David Johns will be officiating. Visitation for the public will be from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Saturday, August 5th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johns was born on December 20, 1956, to William Edward Pettus and Margaret Lavern Chapman in Cullman, Alabama. She passed away at the age of 66, on August 4, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Survivors include her husband, James Johns; son, David Johns; grandchildren, Jessie Costello, Abbey Martinez, Sidney Johns, and Wyatt Johns; great grandchildren, James Costello, Jasper Costello, and Alexandria Martinez; siblings, David Pettus, Mark Pettus, John Pettus, Sarah Elliott, and Ester Cooksey; and a host of many nieces and nephews.
