A graveside service for Nicholas Raye Batemon, 41, of Hanceville will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Batemon was born on June 20th, 1985 in Cullman, Alabama to Mrs. Tammy Fuller and Mr. Jimmie Batemon. He passed away at his home in Hanceville on September 8th, 2026.
Mr. Batemon attended school at Holly Pond High School and then went on to earn his GED from Wallace in 2010. From there on out, he worked in construction and manufacturing across North Alabama.
Mr. Batemon was an avid gamer, and was always ready to share advice, tidbits, strategies, and hacks. He was affectionately known as Uncle Nicky to his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Batemon is survived by his mother, Tammy (Gery) Fuller; father, Jimmie “Jay” Batemon II; children, Alexis Batemon, Brandon Smith, Jarah Batemon, Abigail Batemon; siblings, Lanee (Wes) Brasher, Aimee (Caine) Robinson, Christopher (Tiffany) Bell, Ethan Batemon, Michelle Crouch; grandparents, Betty Baker-Green, Jimmie Batemon I, Jayne (Bud) Johnson, Jane Dalton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Batemon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ted Baker, Neal Fuller, Patrick Dalton; and grandmother, Freda Batemon.
