Funeral services for Nelda Sue McClendon, 82, of Hanceville will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at New Prospect Cemetery in Hanceville. Reverend Randall Waldrep will be officiating services. Visitation for the public will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 26th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mc Clendon was born on October 14, 1941 to the late Ottis and Juanita Daniel-Wise in Walker County, Alabama. She passed away on March 24, 2024 at Woodland Village Nursing Home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lanita Long and her husband Michael, LeAnn Waldrep and her husband Randall and Kenneth Mc Clendon and his wife Tammy; grandchildren, Brandon Mc Clendon and Alicia, Justin Mc Clendon and Tiffany, Drew Mc Clendon and Sarah, Tyler Mc Clendon, Tanner Waldrep and Amanda, Jacob Waldrep, Caleb Long and Ashley and Colin Long and Crimson; great grandchildren, Caroline Mc Clendon, Ivy Mc Clendon, Lily Mc Clendon, Blaze Mc Clendon, Rayleigh Mae Mc Clendon, Waylon Mc Clendon, Scarlett Waldrep, Bryer Waldrep, Jaxon Long, Stetson Long and Cohen Long; sister-in-law, Elouise Hannah and her husband Charles.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mc Clendon was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth O. Mc Clendon; brothers, Bob Wise and Bill Wise; and Infant baby brother Wise.
