Funeral services for Nancy Lucille Edwards of Hanceville will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Union Church Cemetery in the Walter community; with Reverend Doug Pitts officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. on Friday, September 17 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edwards was born on May 15, 1927 in Cullman to Thomas William and Ada (Little) Duke. She died on September 15, 2021 at the age of 94 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include her children, Jerry (Janice) Edwards and Shelia Edwards; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Charles Duke; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Edwards; her son, Bobby Joe Edwards; her daughter, Nancy Karen Caraway; sisters, Betty Sue Duke and Wynelle Duke; and her brother, Billy John Duke.
