A funeral service for David "Mike" Acuff of Hanceville will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 28 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service. The family has elected cremation following the funeral service.

Mr. Acuff was born on July 11, 1959 in Morris Town, Tennessee. He died at the age of 62 at his residence in Hanceville on February 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Mike was also a veteran and served with the Untied States Marines.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Acuff; children, Craig Acuff, Anthony (Kim) Acuff, Mesha Acuff, Izaiha Acuff, Sonya Acuff and Leah Pennington; 2 very special grandchildren, Ansley Acuff and Sofia Acuff; sister, Sheila Graham; 3 brothers-in-law, Rusty (Eva Raines) Fields, Jeff Fields and Chris (Theresa) Crosby; uncle Grant (Linda) Helton; special friends, David (Tina) Pickle, Mark (Brenda) Miller and Justin (Kaitlyn) Sterling; and a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers, and friends.

Mr. Acuff was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Shirley Acuff and Mary Ellen (Helton) Acuff.
