With heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Michael (Butch) Schaefers on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at UAB hospital in Birmingham at the age of 72.

Butch was born August 21, 1950 to Willie and Elenor Schaefers in Cullman, Al who preceded him in death.  He owned and operated Schaefers Tire and Oil Company with his wife Linda until their retirement.

Family left to mourn this loss is his beloved wife Linda Schaefers; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Ginny Schaefers and daughter Cindi Schaefers Burns. Also, grandchildren Kie Burns and Zayden Schaefers, Step grandchildren, Kaylea James, Sarah Schaefers and Rose Fish; Step great grandchild, Katarina James and fur baby, Charlie.  Sister-in-law, Diana Cagle and brothers-in-law, Fred Blackmon and Kelvin (Ann) Blackmon.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Cullman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening beginning at 6 p.m.  A rosary will be held at 7 p.m.
