Funeral services for Michael O'Neal Hurst of Hanceville, Alabama will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 7:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Matt Owens officiating.

Mr. Hurst passed away at the age of 60 at his home on August 26, 2021. He was a good man and devoted Auburn fan. Most importantly, he loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Nichole Hurst; children, Michael Shane Hurst, Jason Hurst, Leslie (Kevin) Giles, Heather Hurst, Dakota Hurst (Micah Hudson), Kage Hurst, Katelyn Hurst, and Haley Whitehead; grandchildren, Courtney Underwood, Jay (Lauren) Hurst, Samantha Giles, Aston Hurst, Madalynn Hurst, Brianna Hurst, Easton Hurst, and Skylar Fite; great grandson Travis Holt; brothers Terry (Mary) Hurst, and David Hurst; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by his parents Emris O'Neal and Nina (Arthur) Hurst.
