Graveside service for Melvin Clyde Smith, Jr. 64, of Hanceville will be held 10 a.m Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Fairview West Cemetery with Chaplain Shannon Hipp officiating.

The son of the late Clyde and Martha Smith died Saturday, September 12 ^th at his residence. He was a retired truck driver.

Family includes his wife, Jennie; Children; Amy (Chad) Whaley and Robert (Stefanie) McAlpine; Five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Sherri (Wayne) Hudson and sister-in-law, Karan Smith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Smith and a brother, Daniel Smith
