A funeral service for Matthew James Amaro of Vinemont, Alabama will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 14 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow the service at Garden City Cemetery. Visiting hours for the public will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home on Tuesday.

Mr. Amaro was born on December 10, 1984 and died at the age of 37 on June 8, 2022. He enjoyed spending time with his entire family whenever he had the chance; especially his wife and children. Aside from his family, Mr. Amaro spent many years as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Latoyia Amaro; children, Alexz Wilkins and Joseph Amaro; siblings, Anthony Amaro, Tommy Amaro and Jacob Amaro; mother, Marie Wallace; grandmother, Isabel Chrisman; mother-in-law, Darlene Alvis; and a host of many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Amaro was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Amaro and father-in-law, Kenneth Alvis.
