Funeral services for Mary Hunt, 82, of Hanceville will be 1:30 Wednesday November 12th at Hopewell Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hunt was born on September 19, 1943, to the late Teman Copeland & Lois Copeland in Jefferson County, Alabama.  She passed away on November 9, 2025, at Hanceville Nursing Home and Rehab Center.

Survivors include her children, Joe (Connie) Hunt, and Angie (Alan) Widner; grandson, Jesse (Kyndal) Widner; great grandson, Case Widner; and her sister, Lynn Veal.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hunt; and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Widner.
