Funeral service for Mary Charlotte Guthery, 65, of Hanceville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with interment following at Hopewell Cemetery.  Mary's family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8.

An assistant superintendant with the City of Cullman, she was born to the late Edward and Alba Shannon Scheinert on June 7, 1954 in Cullman and passed on December 23, 2019 in Cullman.

She leaves behind her husband, Herbert Guthery; sons, John (Loree) Guthery and Kenneth (Candice) Guthery.  Grandchildren Trey, Paige, Trinity Grace, Logan Shane, and Patience Grace Guthery. Haley Watson, Chandler and Kingsley Brown.  Great Grandchildren are Kaylyx Layklyn Guthery, Aurora and Sebastian Watson.  Also surviving are sisters Pat Smith, Marie Peppers and Gail Pope and several nephews and nieces.
