Funeral services for Mary Nelle Chaffin-Segers of Cullman will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 18 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery. Reverend Chuck Kennedy will be officiating. Visitation for the public will be on Friday prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Segers was born on August 25, 1943 in Guin, Alabama to the late Calvin Cornelius and Addi Jane (Black) Chaffin. She died at the age of 78 on March 14, 2022 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama.

Survivors include her husband, Leamon Segers Jr.; grandchildren, Mallory Segers and Mandy Segers; great grandson, Jaxon Segers; sister, Joann Chaffin Holle; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Segers was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Segers; sisters, Sue Taylor and Faye Handley; and brothers, George Chaffin, Fred Chaffin and Jac Chaffin.
