Funeral services for Marshall Malcom Jr., 81, of Colony will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 18th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Colony Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Marshall “Man” Malcom, Jr., born January 23, 1945, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Cullman Regional Hospital. Marshall was born to the late Marshall Sr. and Ella V. Malcom.
Marshall was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Washington on February 4, 1977. Marshall had three sons and one daughter: Nigel W. Malcom (Quiana), Anthony Montez Walker (Candice), Marshall Demetrius Malcom (Tiffany), and Wanda Denice Malcom. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Thelma McMillan and Ethel Malcom.
Marshall leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife; three sons; one daughter; 11 grandchildren, Monique Maisonet, Demetrius Dennis (Candys), Michael Malcom, Jordan Malcom, Quavion Swazer, Taylah Crummie (Ragarus), Niyanna Pearl Kean (Lance), Evan Marshall Malcom, Olivia Michell Walker, Megan Walker, Tristan Walker; seven great-grandchildren; Marshall’s two sisters, Lillian (Col. Wilson Guilbeaux) and Juanita Leeth Flanigan; and his nephews, nieces, and friends. Marshall was a hard worker and loved friends and family. He was also a Child of God. Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior, and he had a spirit that God and those that knew him understood.
