Funeral service for Marie Weeks, 77, of Hanceville will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Waldrop officiating and burial following at Duck River Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:30 P.M. til 8 P.M.

Marie was the daughter of the late R.B. and Vena Quick Melton and was a life long resident of Cullman County where she owned and operated Marie's Flowers in Hanceville for many years.

She is survived by daughters; Nekita (Michael) Brown of Good Hope and Tina Weeks of Hanceville.  Grandchildren; April Smith and Michael "Hossy" (Johnna) Brown; Great Grandchildren; Carmen Elrod, McKenzie Smith and Colson Brown and one Great Great Grandchild, Azlynn Roberson.  She is also survived by a brother, Harlis Melton.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Junior Shedd and Glenn Weeks and brothers, Charles, Billy Joe and Emmitt "Buster" Melton
