Funeral services for Margie Dell Cason, 94, of Hanceville, AL will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 22nd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery. Bro. Paul Rivers will be officiating services. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 21st at Hanceville Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Cason was born on August 21, 1931 to the late Arthur and Doshie (Thomas) Briscoe in Vinemont, AL. She passed away on April 20, 2026 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (Tommy) Shipp, Donnie (Diane) Cason, Ronnie (Margarette) Cason, Dennis (Gina) Cason and Steve Cason; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cason was preceded in death by her husband, James Cason; granddaughter, Christina Cason-Hopper; and several brothers and sisters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Shipp, Daniel Cason, Jeff Shipp, Corey Barbee, Cameron Barbee and Nicky Shipp.
