Funeral services for Mamie Jukes 91, of Colony, will be Saturday March 9 at 1:00 pm. at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, Reverend James Twilly officiating. Burial will follow in the Colony Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday March 8, 2019, 5:30 P.M. at the Hanceville Funeral Home.

Born on March 4, 1928 in Hatchechubbee, Alabama and passed away on March 6, 2019 in Cullman, Alabama. Mamie is survived by a daughter Flora (Henry) Aplin of Columbus, Georgia. Grandchildren include Jackie Kindrex, Greta Kindrex, Vera Sherman, Tameka James. There are twelve great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Annie Kindrex.
