Linda Sue Johns Quick (Lolly) was born on August 3, 1957 in Jefferson County, Alabama to James and Barbara (Scott) Johns. She died at the age of 64 on November 2, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Mrs. Quick taught 1 ^st Grade at Holly Pond Elementary School for 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and beloved dog Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronnie Quick.

Survivors include her children, Brandon (Kerry) Quick, Brittney (Robyn) Canady and Brent Quick; grandchildren, Collin (Shelby) Harris, Josie (Trey) Guthery, Sagey, River, and Barrett "SuSu" Canady; brothers, Alan (Angie) Johns and Michael Johns; and a host of nieces, nephews and former students who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Bethlehem East Cemetery in Hanceville.

In true 'Linda Quick Fashion' she will be arriving late to her funeral.
