Funeral services for Leonard Sewell, 83, of Morris will be 11:00, Friday August 16th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow the service at Duck River Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday August 15th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Sewell was born October 8, 1940 in Clay County, Alabama to the late Lon and Ruth Sewell.  He passed away at his residence on August 11, 2024 in Morris, Alabama.

Mr. Sewell is survived by his wife, Betty Mikel Sewell; children, Roger Sewell (Erica), Steven Sewell, Jeffery Sewell (Dalana), Lisa Hardy (Ray); grandchildren, Brittany Sewell, John Quick, Sarah Sewell, Amber Sewell, Jason Sewell, Draven Meads, David Sewell, Blake Sewell, Luke Sewell; great grandchildren, Gabriella Dake, Hunter Sewell, Danielle Maddox; siblings, Brenda Widen, and Phillip Sewell.

Mr. Sewell was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Ruth Sewell; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and his daughter, Nita Willis.
