Funeral services for Kyle B. Absher, 86, of Hanceville will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 3rd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Absher was born April 4, 1939, in Blount County, Alabama. He passed away October 30, 2025. He graduated from J.B. Pennington High School in 1957. He worked for 35 years with a major oil company. He retired in 1995, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a mason at Crossville Lodge #483 in Crossville, Tennessee; OES Amanda Chapter #4; Scottish Rite Valley of Birmingham 32°, and Zamora Shrine Temple. He was a Shriner Roadrunner and made several trips to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville, South Carolina, and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. Absher is survived by his son, Timothy K. Absher; one granddaughter, and two grandsons; three great grandsons; brother, Farris Absher; and his sister, Iva Thomas.
Mr. Absher was preceded in death by his parents, Byno Absher & Leoma Stapp Absher; siblings, Sybil Johns, Jewel Carney, Verlia Honeycutt, and Dewey Absher.
