Funeral services for Kathryn June Watson of Hanceville will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 19th at Hanceville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Fairview West Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be on Monday at the church from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Watson was born on June 2, 1932 in Hanceville, Alabama to Herman Fanning and Annie A. Whaley-Fanning. She passed away on June 15, 2023 at her residence in Hanceville at the age of 91.

Survivors include her children, Angela (Donnie) Brock and Daniel L. Watson; grandchildren, Tonya (Kevin) Duckett, Andrea Brock and Haley Watson; great grandchildren, Koal Duckett, Jake Duckett, Ella Duckett, Aurora Grace Watson, and Sebastian Rye Watson; and a sister, Norma Lee Greer.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Fanning; and sister Jean Mayfield.
