A funeral service for Karen Denise Fitzek, 59, of Bremen, AL will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Wednesday, March 3 ^rd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held after funeral services at 3:00 P.M. March 13, 2021 at Beat 8 Community Center located at 63 County Road 15, Bremen, AL 35033.

Mrs. Fitzek is survived by her husband, David Mauldin; children, Nathan Hestla and Stacy (Stoney) Vincent; grandchildren, Chandler Graves, Kyler Pugh, Grayson Anderson, and Carter Weeks; sister, Sharon Quick; brother, Tony (Shasta) Quick; nieces and nephews, Amber Lang, Adam Lang, Seth Quick, Chelsea Quick, Brody Quick, and Cade Quick; great nieces, Autumn Creek and family, Peyton Strawbridge and family, Zoe Strawbridge, Tess Strawbridge, Ella Kate Lang, and Ayla Mathis; and great nephews, Brody Lang, and Braxton Mathis.

Mrs. Fitzek was preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Ruby (Shelton) Quick.
