Funeral services for Oren "Jr." Brooks of Hanceville, Alabama will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden City Cemetery. Reverend James Fields will be officiating along with speaker, Tim Compton. Visitation for Mr. Brooks will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Brooks was born to Oren and Annette (Johns) Brooks on April 19, 1955 in Birmingham AL. He died at the age of 65 on March 21, 2021 at his residence in Hanceville, AL.

Survivors include his wife, Sonja Brooks; daughter, Courtney (Tommy) Beckwith; grandchildren, Ava Beckwith, Zoey Beckwith, and Macie Beckwith; mother, Annette Brooks; sister, Marteen (Shane) Bailey; sisters-in-law, Patricia Brooks and Wanda (Jimmy) Cotter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his father, Oren Brooks; brother, Gary Brooks; uncle, Donald Faulkner; and mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Shirley Tyler.
