A graveside service for John Theodore Schwab of Hanceville, Alabama will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Fairview West Cemetery in Hanceville. Reverend Paul Campbell will be officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Schwab was born on June 5, 1932 in Waukegan Lake County, IL. He died at the age of 89 at his residence in Hanceville, Alabama on November 3, 2021. Mr. Schwab was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He joined in Chicago, IL in 1952 and served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, with his first lodge being #35

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Alma Schwab; daughters, Doretta Ellen Kern, Rhonda Jolene Schwab and Donella Irene Villarreal; grandchildren, Jonathon Kern, Conner Villarreal, Aidan Villarreal and Trisdon Schwab; great grandchildren, Alyssa Kern, and Makaya Emi-Mae Kantic-Schwab; sister, Patricia Gust; and a brother, William Hunicutt.

Mr. Schwab was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Inez Towers; and grandson, Rochane Schwab.
