Funeral services for John A. Duke of Hanceville will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 9th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at New Lebanon Cemetery in Blountsville. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Duke was born on October 24, 1962 in Okeechobee, Florida to Oliver and Mary Duke. He passed away at the age of 62 in Hanceville on January 6, 2025.

Survivors include his children, Anthony (Meagan) Duke, Adam (Hannah) Duke, and Amanda (Jeremy) Welton; grandchildren, Ella Duke, Emmy Kate Duke, Alyssa Duke, Millie Duke, Colton James Buckelew (Angel Wren), Karson Lain Buckelew and Harvey Duke; mother, Mary Duke; and his brothers, Keith Duke (Nina), Edwin Duke (Gina).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Duke; brother, Joseph Duke; and father, Oliver Duke.
