Funeral services for Jimmie Nell Yates, 83 of Hayden, will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, September 28th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow the service at Corinth Church of Christ Cemetery in Bremen. Reverend Michael Jones will be officiating. Visitation for the public will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Yates was born on March 2, 1940, to the late Brock and Maudie Brown in Bremen, Alabama. She passed away on September 23, 2023, at her residence in Hayden, Alabama.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel Yates; children, Keith Isbell, and Valerie Chapman; grandchildren, Rachel Chapman, Skye (Caleb) Tharp, Britany (Patrick) Melvin, Gene Maddox, April (Brian) Sweatt, and Matthew Isbell; a host of great-great grandchildren; sister, Shelby Davis; brother, Joel Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by her daughters, Kathy Ogletree, and Debra Zazour; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
