Jesse Robert Glasscock, age 72 of Hanceville, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Cordova, Alabama to Jasper and Flora Hudson Glasscock. Jesse was a member of Garden City First Baptist Church; he love racing, working on cars and playing with his cats.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Flora Glasscock; his brothers, Edwin and Dennis Glasscock. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Glasscock; son, Mark (Christy) Glasscock; sister, Diane Pentecost; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Glasscock, Michael Glasscock, Lee Black, Robert Black, Toby Monts, Kevin Glasscock, Chris Roper and Seth Floyd.
