Funeral services for J.D. Blalock, 87, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Shelton Grove Cemetery. Reverend Ray Ponder will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Mr. Blalock is survived by his grandson, Darrell (Mandy) Blalock; great grandson, Myles Blalock; brothers, Charles Blalock, John Robert Smith, and Freddie Shelton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Blalock was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Blalock; son, Kenneth Wade Blalock; and siblings, Huey, Alvis, W.T., and Junior Blalock, Leach Shelton, Irene Welch, and Inez Ayers; and parents, Tom and Dellie (Shelton) Blalock.
