Funeral services for Herbert "Jr." Guthery , 69, of Hanceville will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday March 1st at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Friday, February 28th at Hanceville Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Mr. Guthery was born November 3, 1955 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Harvey and Velva Guthery. He passed away on February 25, 2025 at his residence in Hanceville, Alabama.

Survivors include his sons, John (Loree) Guthery and Kenneth (Candice) Guthery; grandchildren, Trey, Paige, Trinity Grace, Logan Shane, and Patience Grace Guthery, Haley Watson, Chandler and Kingsley Brown; great grandchildren, Kaylyx Layklyn Guthery, Aurora and Sebastian Watson, Bentley Bailey, Lily and Laiken Wright, and Brooks and Clara Guthery; sister, Margaret Barnett; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Guthery was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Guthery.
