Funeral services for Glenn E. Williams, 79, of Cullman will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 18th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bobby Waddell will be officiating services.Visitation will be Monday August 17th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams was born January 4, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late John & Frankie Williams. He passed away August 14, 2026, in Cullman, Alabama.
Glenn Williams was a devoted man whose life was marked by faith, service, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1968, answering the call to serve with honor and dedication.
Glenn was also a longtime member of Gideons International, faithfully serving for more than 20 years. His commitment to sharing God’s Word and helping others reflected the faith that was so important to him.
Glenn’s life touched many people, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Williams; children, Carol Ann Weber (Steven), David Earl Williams (Angel), Sonda Ellenburg (Donald), Falicia Stephens; grandchildren, Ashley Colletti (Zachary), Emma Weber, Emily Williams, Jessican England (Alex Peralta), Jennifer Baca (Thomas), Chasity Norred (Dylan). Skylar Stephens (Olivia); great grandchildren, Ellie Norred, Kolson Norred, Bella Peralta, Elizabeth Peralta, Elizabeth Stephens, Addie Stephens.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, John & Frankie Williams; children, Daniel Glenn Williams, Lisa Williams; and his brother, Carroll Erving Williams (Lydia).
