Funeral services for Glenda Faye Grund, 79, of Hanceville will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 3rd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview West Cemetery. Reverend Tony Thomas will be officiating. Visitation for the public will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grund was born on August 12, 1943 to the late Theodore R. and Nellie (Vincent) Jenkins in Blount County, Alabama. She passed away on June 1, 2023 at her residence in Hanceville. Just to name a few of the many things she enjoyed doing was working on her farm and keeping up her garden every year. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. In times of reflection; Mrs. Grund loved everything waterfalls.

Survivors include her children, A.J. Grund, Cathy Silcox and Donna Dean; grandchildren, Monica Swann, Stacie Shaddrix, Heath Dean and Lindsie Yeager; great grandchild, Raylee Yeager; sisters, Ollie Tankersley, Shirley Curl and Gail Skillman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Grund was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Grund; parents; and son-in-law, Tony Silcox.
