Funeral services for Glenda Jean Calvert, 87, of Bremen will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 7th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow the service at Ryan's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Calvert was born July 26, 1938 in Cullman, Alabama.  She passed away February 5, 2026 in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 87.

She leaves behind her sons, Phillip (Trisha) Calvert, Neil (Leisa) Calvert and Jeff (Angie) Calvert; grandchildren, Adam (Kristi) Calvert, Lauren (Nick) Smith, Rebekah (Carl) Harper, Tasha Smith, Colton (Courtney) Henderson, Jessica Shae Calvert, and Houston Calvert and (Hayley Barham); great grandchildren, Giancarlo Amato, Alana Smith, Alessio Amato, Cora Smith, Mia Amato, Ryder Henderson, Jacob Sharritt, Amelia Smith, Saylor Henderson, Estella Harper; sister, Faye Graves and her brother, James Stricklin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Glenda is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Stricklin; mother, Stella Stricklin; her sister, Beatrice Rivers; and her husband, Harold Melton Calvert.
